Introduction

Hello, my name is Thai, I grew up in New Orleans, move to Dallas in 1998 and I always wanted to be a pharmacist through tout High School.  I really love working with kids because I do work at Legoland Discovery Center at Grapvine Mills Mall, we always get a special needs school group coming in every week.  When they Group comes in I make them feel like they don't have any needs, I play with them, I'm very nice to the kids, and I talk to them a lot.  Everyday I try to help people but mainly kids and I enjoy doing it. In my career I'm trying to achieve is a pharmacist so I'll help people daily with their medicine needs.  Here is a Email I got from a manger thanking me for my work on one of the days of the special needs group:
  • STAR - 19/12/12 - We CareI received the following email from a teacher who brought her group of special needs students this morning: "I just wanted to thank Lego Land in Grapevine Mills for allowing us to come to your center. We have special needs children and it is often difficult for us to plan things that our students can do. The staff was friendly, and they helpful taking pictures for us and smiling at our kids instead of avoiding them. They smiled and waved and opened doors for our kids. It was so much fun! It was easy for our kids with walkers and wheelchairs to move about. It was great! The kids also enjoyed the movie! God Bless you, Del Camp PPCD teacher Rosa Parks Millbrook Lancaster TX 75154" So THANK YOU for going above and beyond to deliver a great experience for this group! I appreciate all that you do in helping every one of our guests to have a wonderful time while visiting LDC! "
I got inspired toward my future career because my god mother is a pharmacist and she loves her job.  I'm going to NCTC because I live less than 2 miles from the campus and its quite cheap to go here for basic classes.  My main goals for this class is to pass of course and to really get to know my professor and classmates. I'm also thinking of changing my Career more to dealing with more special needs kids or kids in general. I really love cars and now I love Lego's again because of my job.
